Here at Raised On It, we are huge fans of Catherine McGrath and have been listening to her debut album “Talk of This Town” on repeat since she released it at the end of July.
One of the best parts about being a country music fan is the relationship artists have with us as fans. They’re honest, transparent, and give us a peek inside their life. Thomas Rhett’s wife, Lauren, has even branded it “The Real Reel” to show people that they’re just regular folks. The music is great but there is truly a special bond created between artist and fan.

Nineteen years ago, in August of 1999, Brad Paisley released just his second song off his freshman album Who Needs Pictures. Although it took until December of that year, “He Didn’t Have To Be” became Paisley’s first #1 song. It was the first of nineteen #1s and he’s not done yet.
