New In Nash: This Week in New Music

By Aaron Wagner

The legend Tim McGraw released his new album Here On Earth which is some of the best collection of songs from him in the last 10 years. Start by checking out “Hard To Stay Mad At” and “Doggone.” Lauren Alaina dropped a new one that features Jon Pardi. The two’s vocals sound so good together on “Getting Over Him.”

Brothers Osborne turn things all the way up to 100 on their new one this week “Skeletons” and then HARDY sings about wanting to take the next step in a relationship in “BOYFRIEND”, even if the title doesn’t seem like it.

Tucker Beathard released his full length album this week and it’s some of the best music we’ve ever heard from him. One of the songs to check out is “You On.”

Craig Campbell sings about what really catches his attention and captures his heart in his new one this week “Talk Country To Me.” We also get a new one from Easton Corbin this week. “Didn’t Miss a Beat” has the country crooner singing about running into an old flame out on the town.

My 3 Favorite Songs from Country Risers:

“Sometimes Late At Night” – Eric Burgett: Eric wrote this song and surprised his wife by this being their first dance song when they got married two years ago. Eric’s voice is so good in this romantic song and you get a sense as to just how special of a song this is for him with his performance.

“Take It Slow” – Hayden Coffman: Man, this guy just keeps on cranking out great songs. His new one has him singing about when you realize that the person is different and really special, and you want to do everything to be with them and not screw things up.

“Soon As I’m Happy” – Renee Blair: All of Renee’s songs have such a fresh sound to it and this new one is no different. Renee sings about that moment when you finally move on and that person comes crawling back into your life trying to make things right. I really enjoyed this one from her.
