Ingrid Andress has the voice.
The voice that you don’t just hear, but comes out in her songwriting, in her self confidence that her first single “More Hearts Than Mine” wasn’t just a fluke; that she belongs in this business.
After years of honing her craft as a songwriter, Ingrid found that the songs she was writing could only be sung by her. She was at the top of everyone’s “artist to watch” for 2019 and started building a strong following, not seen since Maren Morris came on the scene.
2020 is going to be a big year for Andress.
Her first album will be released in March, right in the middle of touring with Dan + Shay. And when she’s done on their tour, she will be opening for Tim McGraw. If her album is anything like the songs we’ve heard so far, there’s no doubt that Ingrid will not only be nominated, but winning any new artist of the year award that the industry is handing out.
In a time when it’s increasingly difficult to have women’s voices heard in country music, Ingrid Andress is blazing her way through, establishing her own path and finding great success.
