Tenille Arts hails from small town in the middle of nowhere Canada. From a young age she was singing and writing songs. As she got older, Nashville became a dream for her, something she finally attained when she moved to town 3 years ago.
In one of the more original discovery stories, Arts was asked to perform one of her original songs on “The Bachelor.” That exposure led to a deal with Reviver Records and an invite back to the reality show for the next season to perform her single at the time “I Hate This.” The song hit #1 on the US and Canada Country iTunes Charts the day after the episode.
From there, Arts has grown as an artist and a songwriter. In early 2018 she released her first full length album Rebel Child, a 15-track album that shows Arts’ range and development as a storyteller. Rolling Stones named her as one of the top 10 country artists to know.
So far in 2019, Arts has released two new singles. “Call You Names” centers on the mother-daughter relationship; the evolution of how we view our parents from our teen years to an independent adult.
“Somebody Like That” is Tenille’s latest single, released in September. It is the sweetest song about seeing the best example of love in her parents.
Tenille has played on the road, opening for acts like Luke Combs and Dan + Shay and it seems like her Nashville success story is just beginning.
