Jason Aldean. Luke Bryan. Cole Swindell. Kip Moore. All Georgia boys who have made it big in country music. There’s just something about those Georgia guys. It might not be long until we get to add another name to that great list.
Insert, Jordan Rager.
Growing up in the YouTube era, Rager posted covers of country songs on YouTube gaining a pretty good following. One day, Justin Moore stumbled across a video and was immediately a fan. So much so, that he invited him out on tour with him. Shortly after that, he was was signed to Broken Bow Records – which most notably has Jason Aldean on its label.
Rager teammed up with Aldean in 2016 for his debut single “Southern Boy.”
Rager’s biggest musical inspiration growing up was Alan Jackson. He remembers watching Alan Jackson on TV as a young boy, saying “I remember sitting in front of the TV thinking ‘That’s cool. That’s what I want to do.’”
With his latest release of “Georgia Boy” it’s becoming quite clear that his potential in country music is truly unlimited. Rager’s vocals are top notch and is in the mold of a Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. He’s surrounded by a great team, with a good network of artists to support him as well. At only 24 years, the sky is the limit. Once he gets that first Top 10 radio hit, look out.
No matter where he goes, there’s still a part of him that’s always gonna be a Georgia boy.
