2018 Nominees:

Summary: This is truly a star studded group of nominees. Lady Antebellum spent the year touring the country including some time in the United Kingdom. They’ve really only had one song in the last year or so with “Heartbreak” reaching #15 on the charts. LANCO released their debut album Hallelujah Nights in January of this year which includes the top hits “Greatest Love Story” and “Born to Love You.” Little Big Town had a quieter year as the two songs they’ve released to radio “When Someone Stops Loving You” and “Summer Fever” failed to crack the Top 30. Midland, already up for New Artist of the Year, has had another successful year. Following the early success of “Drinkin’ Problem,” they’ve had two Top 20 singles with “Make a Little” and “Burn Out.” The favorite to win the award though is Old Dominion who continues to crush it. Last fall they released their sophomore album Happy Endings which includes three more #1 hits “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart,” “Written in the Sand,” and “Hotel Key.”
