It was yet another good week of new music from a variety of artists. With summer tours coming to a close and smaller fall tours about to begin, hopefully we continue to get even more music from our favorite artists.
Florida Georgia Line released a new jam called “Sittin’ Pretty.” While most of Florida Georgia Line’s songs have Tyler Hubbard as the lead vocalist, Brian Kelley takes the lead vocals on this one. It’s a solid song and hopefully this leads to BK grabbing the lead vocals on a few more songs.
One of our favorite new duos in country music is Smithfield. The talented duo released a song called “Our World” as Trey and Jennifer showcase their powerful voices and harmonies. It won’t be long before they’re a household name.
I think we can say that Hunter Hayes is back. After a few years of being out of the headlines and top of the charts he’s making his comeback to country. After emotional song “Dear God” he follow it up with a party jam called “One Shot.”
Country music is better when Randy Houser is on the radio. He’s been releasing a few songs here and there lately, including the one he just released called “No Stone Unturned.”
Up and coming singer Nikita Karmen released a powerful song called “Nightmare.” She’s someone else to keep an eye on as she has tons of vocal talent.
Former Bachelorette contestant Luke Pell released “Radio.” All jokes aside about his reality TV history, he has a really good voice for country music. “Radio” is another catchy song among others he has released in the last few years.
Country newcomer Brandon Ray released “Second Thoughts” as he looks to build off of the success of “Bring Your Love Back” which has over 1 million plays on Spotify.
J. Adam Broome dropped an emotional new song called “Stones.” After getting a sneak peak at the song prior to the release, we felt compelled to give it a special review as we think it’s so lyrically clever and Broome delivers on the vocals.
